L-Tyrosine is a free-form amino acid which rapidly crosses the blood-brain barrier. It is a precursor for the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine and epinephrine, as well as for thyroid hormones and enkephalins, special peptides which subdue messages of physical discomfort. Tyrosine is also a constituent of amino sugars (glycosaminoglycans), special compounds which have important roles throughout the body.

I really wouldn't classify cannabis as a stimulant

I enjoy L-Tyrosine, it helps me with anxiety and depression! I Have noticed I feel more rage and irritability while taking l-Tyrosine.. Has anyone had similar effects while taking L-Tyrosine?

high dopamine can lead to that. Maybe just ease off if it gets to that level. I've notice the same before.

good questions, it depends. You can take low doses for a long time. You can also vary by having acetyl l carnitine some of the time instead. Going back to normal? Depends. If you're body just needed a little boost, in my experience you stay higher dopamine after you stop taking it. I did the last time i stopped taking it. If you're pretty depleted though, you could end up feeling like you're back to square one.

For me, Tyrosine has made a big difference in how I experience life on a fundamental level. Had it not been for the internet and folks like Mr. Robinson, I'd no doubt still be experiencing life in a two dimensional non textual emotionally lifeless way. Like DHEA, D3, and Tryptophan, Tyrosine is inexpensive and can make a huge difference in the quality of your life. Why is Pharma pushing invented drugs that have huge drawbacks when natural amino acids work wonders? Profit from healing, not fraud.

No, it's not. Sorry. In fact, what pot does is balance the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems. These systems are contained in the adrenal medulla, where the first two hormones in the adrenal cascade are made: adrenaline and noradrenaline.

So that's balanced with a toke. But here's the good part...the next hormone in the cascade after the two above is: CORTISOL, which is made in the adrenal cortex along with all the many, many remaining hormones.

As an Inattentive Add'er I wanted to try it. I have been on it for 2 days and I have 2 questions for you 1. How long did it take you to notice a difference? 2. Is there a store I can get it from (not an internet store) in the liquid form.

I've been taking it for a while now and can't really tell too much of a difference, but it's there. The best part, though, is burping up the powder when you first take it.
