  • I've been wondering how DLC works on Wii games. Does the data incorporate into the save data or something, or is it a seperate file or what. And can it be moved to the SD Card with what the 4.0 Update features brought us?

  • The song pack data becomes it's own file, it's not mixed with the save file. :)

Since Samba didn't ship with SD support, if the songs are on there, the game can't read them, it's gotta be on the internal memory, but thanks to the 4.0 update, that isn't as big of an issue anymore.

  • Are there more songs

  • Yes, more packs have been released since I made this video.

  • I guess there's no way to transfer DLC from a Wii to another if you change it ? (mine will probably die one day or another, I've GPU problems)

    (beside asking Nintendo, of course)

  • well i got the full pack of DLC songs, it's about 350 blocks but it wastes the storage space on my Wii, is there a way to use it directly off a DS-Card?

  • i don't know you but can i still add ya?

  • AMIGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO XD

  • Only 3 songs in each package?

  • el mio es 0088-765-3937

  • hey the mine is:0088-0765-3937 thanks if you add me

  • Ah, thanks for the quick response, I get the whole thing with games needing to be SD supported. Do you think any game can have DLC or do the games have to be built for it? Unless Nintendo creates a patch channel and the game loads with hooks or something.
