I am now a King of Sparta Remixes.

The uploading of this was delayed because of a glitch in Vegas Pro 10... after a day or so I wasn't able to speed up or slow down clips or the audio in each clip would cut out and stop working completely. I had to download Vegas Pro 9, a more stable version, to finish this remix.

BPM TRICK

In Sony Vegas, go to File, Properties (ALT+Enter), and click on the Ruler tab. Set the Ruler Time Format to 140.000. This is the exact speed the Sparta Remix base music was created in. Make sure that Note That Gets One Beat is set to Quarter. Click ok, then you're ready for what's next.

Go to Options, and make sure Enable Snapping, Snap To Grid, Snap to Markers, and Snap to All Events are on. This way you'll never lose the beat when creating your Remix. In the same Options drop-down menu, go to Grid Spacing, and select 16th notes. Now you're ready to import your material.

You will notice that there will be a nice grid showing you where each beat is. Sync the beginning of the music to a beat. Remember, the audio itself must be at the beginning of the beat, not the excess part of the clip. Then you can use your material to make the different sounds to your Sparta Remix. Snapping makes it easier to sync the sound with the music, and keep it in beat, so be sure not to turn it off. Get used to holding the shift button down while dragging the ends of a clip to extend it, so you can edit minute details.
