Sharing Backyards-A program of Urban Village, Salt Lake City, UT

People with organic gardens share with people who want to plant vegetables and raise chickens. Vegetable and egg harvests are shared --surpluses traded or sold to others too! The program increases local organic food yields--a benefit to people, the environment, and the climate by reducing dependence on oil in agriculture and transportation.
