Here are some old home movies taken at Good Harbor Beach by my Uncle Dick, this footage is probably from the period of 1959-1962.
Back in those days, there were large dunes backing the beach, they have been since washed away. Enjoy a trip back to easier times!
what a delight to watch

I love home movies! I remember this beach. And the dogtown commons! What, that is gone now? I stayed with my family from Ohio at the Anchorage in Gloucester, on Hawthorne Lane. The Hawthorne Inn was still there and I still sell woodcuts I did of it as a teen in the '70s! Greetings from France. Uprated.

@Hi735 Haha laugh it off. I was bored having to sit through the lifetime show when they made a documentary on it. Some of those girls were smokin hot!

Hi would you help me?
Im investigating a house that was burned in Gloucester Masachussets in 1971
It was situated on Old Salems Road, behind a natural park or something like that.
Can you tell me if it was there really, because I
havent seen any photos of it on internet.
