@rachelabombdotcom It's not about 'how attractive or young' a candidate is; RP has been running for what, 3 times now? Without success. Johnson is just getting known and is far from well known. My point is that at 76 years old, RP is too old for the job, probably the toughest most demanding job in the world. He had his chance and he continues to not appeal to a majority, and I stated some of the reasons for that.

Ron Paul has many negative issues; he can't start and finish a sentence, has a high pitched, old man voice, he is OLD to the point he would be 80 at the end of a 4 year term; which makes his VP pick very important. Gary is not there to 'siphon votes' from RP; he's his own man and has a right to run; his values differ substantially.

@signalfire6 Well aware of Johnson's positions however his chances are 0 of winning the nomination and he knows this. That's why I ponder his motives at this time. Of course he has the right but since he is very close in his beliefs as a libertarian it's obvious he is taking some of the support away from Paul. as small as it is... His views on gay marriage suck. Voting for the young attractive candidate didn't help with clinton or obama, how sad a thought process that is.
