  • Thanks for the info, i just got a grade 1 MCL injury while i was skiing. Season is done for me. Definatly going for a knee brace to help with the stability of my leg. Much less pain than Hyper Extension, but still hurts bad.

  • Great info, Thanks. My Elvis dance is doing it,lol. E

  • @seansaccount101 Ah I'm pretty sure you just move to canada and aquire free heath care! lol

  • Thanks

  • @mrr8914 I agree...with you ..i am facing the same problem...an outside force injured my MCL,,,, overstretching of the leg made it happen.....im on my bed at present ..checking MCL injury videos..:-)

  • @014676603 nah...the force comes from the outside putting a strain on the mcl...if you put your leg straight out and smack the outside of your knee you can see how this can happen

  • She says injury can occur to the MCL when a force is applied to the OUTSIDE of the knee.I would think the majority of injuries occur when force is applied to the INSIDE of the lower leg/knee causing the MCL to stretch too much...

  • @MixedMartialAwesome

not much better, i wish i had the option to stay off of it but i don't, i also dont have insuranse, thats why i'm self diagnoseing, i've tried braces but to no avail, i'm now getting a burning sensation down to my shin, at this point i'm lost...there are just too many things it "could" be...maybe i'll move to Canada so i can get a free MRI, btw...if you come across any info about your knee i'd be happy to hear about it...good luck with yours :/
