The orchestra certainly are libyans ,the dancer costume are traditional libyan but the dancer hereself looks Libyan Jewish .

Please note this was made as a joke many years ago to cheer up British soldiers FIGHTING to Free Libya from Italian/ German occupation. It is not to be taken seriously. And yes these old balck and white movies are sometimes shocking in todays world..but the whole point is the world HAS moved on thanks to better education and communications.. GET OVER IT!! Ironically once again Libya needs help..and I thank God for the Britts as did my family in the 1940's!

The band is tunisian I can tell from their clothing ,the dancer maybe an african maid and the song she sings is egyptian. they have nothing to do with Libya!

For the orchestra ,certainly They are libyans but the dancer could be Libyan Jewsh or Egyptian .Because The accent is not Libyan.
