thnx it was helpful but would have been better if the camera showed the racket hitting or brushing the ball and also in slow motion. cheers

Okay...so what I don't understand is how are you suppose to hit the ball on a regular serve. Are you suppose to hit it like a pancake? In other words, are you suppose to hit it with an open raquet face flat against the ball or are you suppose to direct the face of the raquet toward the side you are serving to?

a lot of the so called teaching pros don't know how to hit a kick serve. Even if they do they don't know how to articulate it. I reconmmend reading the ITF manual (which is free) rather than hire coaches. The secret to kick serve is that you hit the ball slightly farther to your left than you normally do. You don't consciously brush up either; you try to hit through as in your first serve.
