The LEICA M9 'Titanium,' debuting at Photokina on September 21. This exclusive special edition is the result of a collaboration with Walter de'Silva, the prominent automobile designer. Responsible for groundbreaking design concepts in the latest models from the Volkswagen Group, the chief designer and his Audi Design Team reinterpreted the design of the LEICA M9 just as he envisaged it. The outcome is a unique camera with a new rendering of the characteristic features of Leica rangefinder cameras, which lends precision engineering, unique style and solid titanium to extraordinary formal design.

The specs on this camera are shocking, why not go for a nice Nikon D3X for a fifth of the price along with a lovely Canon 1D X. I do not understand the price of leica products. The only reason somebody would pay £10k+ for this camera is the build quality. But at the end of the day whats better, a camera that is sturdy and made out of Titanium and does not auto-focus, or a camera that is made out of plastic but takes some stunning photographs?
