Fabulous to see Michael Vaughan during his purple patch. There was no finer sight in cricket than a Vaughan cover drive or pull. Gillespie was a world class bowler, but treated with contempt in this innings, and Vaughan pretty much finished Dizzy's career in 2005 with the Old Trafford 166. One of those rare batsmen who it could sometimes be impossible to bowl to.

shame he didnt find form this year would love to have seen 2 or 3 more years of Vaughny back to his best.
