McCain often says the guard drew the cross with his foot, but this McCain-approved ad shows the cross being drawn with a stick. Incidentally, McCain often quotes are refers to Solzhenitsyn's "Gulag Archipeligo" which "coincidentally" contains a very similar story involving a stick used to draw a cross in the dirt. I'm just sayin'.
