  • im with my white dove i got a week ago right now but the youtube video isnt working. We got her from a store called birds plus, and she layed 1 egg yesterday, and the day before. She was with alot of doves. Shes about 1 year i think.i hope there fertile eggs.

  • They lay eggs in clutches. Normally its 2-3 eggs a time spread over a couple of days.

  • I just got 2 Ringneck Doves yesterday && they're so quiet. I honestly can't stand it. So I've been playing some videos of other people's Doves to get mine to coo && this video worked the best.

    5 stars for sure!

Thank you. I'm happy now that I got to hear them both coo. xD

  • They are quiet when you first get them, they need to get used to their surroundings

  • I use this video to get our doves started up in the morning- works every time :)

  • yours need to be started? Mine start me up every morning.... around 6.

  • can u get a african collared dove to mate with one of those white ones?

  • @JamieLovesBirds Watch that she doesn't lay so many, she can become a chronic egg layer and develop a Calcium deficiency :) just so you know you may want to talk to the vet and he/she can give some easy solutions for it ^_^

  • All three of my diamonds are looking at me like I'm insane. :) They all hopped to the side of the cage closest to me and have their heads cocked to the side.

  • @STFUxShorty

It will take them some time before they're comfortable enough to coo! Mine were the same way. :)

Give them about 3-4 weeks, they'll be alarm clocks, soon enough. :P

  • Lol they're nice birds.. I remember when my father bougth 2 of these, then one of them died... and another died... and another... but one pair survived and in 2 years we got from 2 to 30 :O! But my father decides no longer have these doves and he releases them in the camp :/

Sorry but my english sucks :P

  • lol

  • My cat LOVES this!! She sat stone still and watched it over 3 times, licking her lips!!!!
