I almost died cuz my friend wanted to swimm at top off fall after a storm and I said ni by time we got to bottom it was flooded

my prayers are to stay safe...play it smart... this can be frightening...but amazingly enough Ithaca, NY has prepared pre-planned and prevented what could have been worse...our forefathers built strong tall walls...for safety..

I went by the boathouses yesterday and all looked well. The Cornell crew was gathered there for a coach talk prior to heading out on the Inlet. The Inlet and the lake had lots of floating logs and other debris.
