Grim Reality: Phil takes out Doc Santoro

These scenes are already uploaded, so I thought I would edit them w/ music.

Faustino "Doc" Santoro, a veteran made man of the Lupertazzi crime family. He had the enmity of the rest of the family for his actions while Phil Leotardo was recovering in the hospital. Ordered a hit on Gerry Torciano after the airing of a television show discussing who would take over the Lupertazzi crime family after Johnny Sack was sent to prison. As Gerry was the perceived successor to Phil Leotardo, Doc had him murdered while he ate dinner with Silvio Dante.

In this scene: During a sit-down in a restaurant, Doc humiliates Phil by literally taking food from his plate, even as Phil acknowledges Doc as the head of the family.

Phil avenges his long-felt humiliations and has Doc murdered, along with his bodyguard outside a massage parlor in New York City, cementing his own claim to be the boss.

@GeneHeim1 Paul was a legitimate guy, Gotti didn't like that and he didn't like the fact that the guy didn't come to John Gotti's mentor's funeral and long time Gambino capo. That was a sign of disrespect so they took him out.

@MobHeataEnt Paul didn't respect "street people". Nino Gaggi tried very hard to sponsor Roy DeMeo. Roy worked hard for Mr. Gaggi, stole cars and handled difficult situations. Paul gladly took Roy's money but stalled on making him. Made street guys think Mr. Castellano thought bad of them.

Mr. Castellano had an affair with his housekeeper with his wife in the house. This scandalized street guys, made them think Mr. Castellano was "soft" and unreliable.

@GeneHeim1 Yeah tell me something I don't know I know the whole story. I read Boss of Bosses by O'Brien and Gotti: Rise and Fall by Jerry Capeci and Gene Mustain. In both cases they don't label Castellano as street guy, he was a legitamate businessman and Carlo's brother in law that is how he got upped and passed Aniello Dellacroce who everyone that was gonna replace Carlo. When Aniello got passed that is why majority Gambinos agreed on the Castellano hit. He didn't respect his capos.

@MobHeataEnt As I recall Paul was ambushed. FWIW Mr. Castellano was NOT a "street guy". He started off as a butcher then rose to become a fine businessman. I don't know the specifics of his mafia career but do know that Mr. Gambino appointed him the Boss.

@GeneHeim1 He acted like an innocent old man, just like Paul Castellano. If your coming from a life like this, you should have the least knowledge of what it means when your driver takes off and leave you hanging, even if your not a street guy. You can't just stand there and be like "huh" and look at him running lol.

@afterapplepicking and he was shot in the eye i remember reading something about that after watching the godfather when moe green was shot that its meant to show that his eyes were bigger than his stomoch and i can see how that would relate in this scene
