This poem is about leaving behind and moving on from one you love, in a way of protection yourself from all the harm the person in future time might do to you.
It's about accepting things the way they are, accepting a certain solitude in life. No longer craving for love and affection and especially not in the midst of the people who have no intention of giving you that.
I hope the boy I wrote the poem about shall not feel to flattered of me writing a poem about him, for it is not in any way meant to be flattering.
Needles to say -- as already stated in the poem -- I do miss him greatly and will always remember the times we spent together.
I hope you all enjoyed my poem/video.
Jane
---------------------------------------------------------------
In your presence
A world spirals around me
Falls on top of me
crushes me,
throws me to the ground
In a restless unresolved love
and my heart lies at its place beside
Manufacturing a sense of disbelief
For all that is, and all that will be
For this is not supposed to be
And we are not supposed to be
Lost within the binding stories told
Within the distance drawn in closeness
A cold and bitter loving
A fearful contemptment for whatever we had within reach
You and I find one other in lonely places
Stare at oneother with our lonely faces
And nightlight forever abides among us
Once morning's met you are gone
And so is all I once hoped to be
The more I touched your longing body
The more I lost the reality of who you are
and more so, what you mean to me
I was whirling under your touch
but it seems to matter no more
for that light I once met in you
was purely based
on my own stupid imagination
In your presence I hoped I could feel no more
I pray that I could feel no more
I crave for not feeling anything at all
For being in your presence
is as far away
as I could be
of who you really are
and more so..
what you really mean to me
And this world crushes down on me
But in the truth of not feeling no more
I shall be happy with all that is, and all that will be
I miss you..
I liked that video alot, great poem, heartfelt and sincere. You framed some nice angles, I especially liked the shot by the window.
