Ben: I enjoy watching your clips here on youtube but I think you may want to re-think telling people to land "stingrays" by hand like this. What happens if some guy tries to grab a southern stingray like this and gets a barb thru his hand? The southerns barb is further down its tail and they can whip their tail and stick their barb the length of their body & then some. You may want to defferntiate between the cownosed and the more dangerous southern stingray. Killed the croc hunter right?

I have a rule, I never f*ck with stingrays and sharks. I just cut the line and that's it...

you shouldn't handle a stingray through those "holes on the head like a handle". They are called spiracles and you can damage them quite easily. Without them they cannot ventilate their gills.

@wreckanchor you should be careful handling any stingray.. you should always be aware of there barbs and how they can use them
