twin turbo cummins vs efi live duramax

Its a twin turbo cummins, 90 horse injectors, industrial injection cp3, and its a 6 speed manual doing a fourwheel boost launch. Duramax has EFI live with water meth injection doing a 2 wheeldrive launch. At 110 MPH the duramax was at the back passenger door of the cummins

@Headcase98002 He had the newest beta smarty. We were testing different tunes that day. I have twins and injectors and its not a race anymore but he'll have a 1000 dyno'd horse next month with a 48re. Now it's really fast.

was the tranny and what not built on the dmax? what were all the mods done to both truck?

Yeah the Dmax has a fully built allison and the dodge has a dual disk clutch.. from 70 to 110 we stayed pretty much even. The cummins has a 62mm as his primary turbo and a 74mm as his big turbo.. everything else is stated above about what is done to both trucks..

Yeah I couldn't believe I stayed that even with him. but even though I was staying with him I was running 1650 EGT's and he was around 1300 so his is more usable HP. I have twins and injectors now and I'll walk all over him with my EGT's never getting above 1300. you have to give it to him even though he was launching in four wheel drive and I wasn't he does have a six speed instead of an auto.. Both are really impressive trucks!!

Autos are a huge advantage in racing. He loses boost and momentum every shift while the autos keep on truckin. Also according to the description, the cummins isn't tuned. It may have a small set of nozzles and a 30% over CP3, but tuning is everything.

The cummins wasn't even blowing any smoke I think if you pit bigger injectors than 90 horse you will make more power and woulda beat that dmax better

Read what the cummins has then read what the duramax has done to it. I'd hope the cummins would have one and it only beat it by a half a truck. Put the same mods on the Dmax and it'll bust that ass
