Everyone's such an uncle tom-wannabe with their "no sand!" (cu's they read it on the internet, and now they think they appear educated by posting "no sand" on youtube) Experienced breeders use sand sometimes, despite it's rep. It comes down to age and behaviour of gecko as well as type of sand. It's not a black or white issue ppl

The temps should be 90 degrees on the hot side and about.80 on the cool side and it is.not a good idea to use sand at all if anything use reptile carpet or paper towel

Sand is not always bad like she said just wait till they are a little bigger and TRY it, it can cause impaction but I have had sand in my terrarium for 2 years
