I found a undefined memory overflow crash in the new iTunes 9. I have tried it on my main user account and than created a guest account and tried again and returned with the same result. Here are the steps to execute the crash
1) Open iTunes
2) Command-Option-2 to bring up the EQ
3) un-tick or tick the box to turn it off/on, and directly after you do so close the EQ window with the Command-W key
4) iTunes should now lock up and eventually quit

  • the 9.02 update fixed finally squashed this bug

  • This seems to be an intel related problem as it does not occur on a G4 PowerMac.
