i took hiv drugs for 11 years until 2 years ago when i got high speed internet and found information online i had not seen before. i think most people will find it shocking to learn of this at first, i know i was very emotional with this realization, but i also knew that i had to find out the truth for myself and future generations. the silver lining is that many people are getting off the medications and doing better finally after so many years of suffering.

No, THAT's hardly "the problem." Would you suggest we fight cancer by lowering the rate of misdiagnoses?
It's not people incorrectly diagnosed with HIV that need prayers...they'll be fine.
Our prayers and assistance must go to those who DO have this devastating virus.
I support Annie Lennox and SING in trying to raise awareness of the REAL problem- people are dying from HIV/AIDS, and there is a desperate need for access to treatment amongst the most-affected populations in South Africa.

the problem is the fact that flu shots and the flu itself will cause one to have a false positive on the hiv test according to a 2006 New England Journal of Medicine report. the hiv test only identifies the presence of 2 proteins and many conditions will cause the body to produce those 2 proteins including pregnancy, drug use and tuberculosis. please pray for all those who have been misdiagnosed with hiv and AIDS.
