@gizzisonic very true. for anyone that thinks they know, no you don't. even guys that were in other parts of iraq don't know. ramadi was ramadi. it was the worst place in the country you could be at that time. that's not even an opinion. that's a fact. i was in 2nd plt, wpns co. so i'm not just some asshole that doesn't know his ass from his elbow. semper fi.

@mailforbid1989 Its referring to the Ballistic glass we used to take to "24" hour OP's. Like this video, the squad went out to intentionally cut them self off from support so it would make it easier for the Insurgents to attack. So we would take this glass to help fortify our positions. unfortunately it weighed near a 100lbs depending on the size. It can be seen in the window of this video and alot of the others. their probally wasting thousands of bullets on one untrained guy who had a pistol and shot it in the air and then ran. I mean i know people get shot but i think they need more snipers and better indication of targets.

@johplay449 let me clarify, one of our snipers shot some one planting a IED, which sparked a Battalion wide firefight that lasted 14 hours. it wasn't one guy with a pistol. they actually dont use hand guns. the use machine guns and rocket launchers. and we also estimated it was at least 12 3-4 man teams and 2 mobile Mortar teams. who most where probably under trained but where lead buy a highly trained few. it also isnt counter strike or TF2 so stop pretending that you know something

Does anyone remember a LCpl Thomas Echols? He went to my high school and was killed december 4, 2006 (I think). I never met him but I see his picture every day in my JROTC class. I was wondering what happened to him.
