I thought the girl had some illness and she was dying but rather than to tell her boyfriend (GD), she broke up with him so that he would forget about her and not feel the pain when she died. So TOP goes with her plan. Then Tae Yang calls him to tell GD of her sickness so he comes rushing to the hospital but he's too late. And TOP tells him that the girl loved him (GD). And yeah sad ending.
