First cover song I have really tried to sing and play since I went deaf in left ear about 2 months ago. A mini stroke left my left ear completely deaf and now I struggle with sounds and a constant ringing in my head (called tininnitus). Sorry If I am out of tune a bit or off on the guitar but it is taking me some time to get used to getting back to singing and playing again with the hearing loss. I have to take baby steps to get back in the grove if I can. The doctors say I can never be around drums or loud sounds (concerts) if I want to save what hearing I do have in my right ear (at 60%). So my music carrer is over.
So my music, which once was my love, identity and passion, has been taken from me because of a blood clot that left me deaf... but at least I am lucky it didn't do more damage that it already has and that I am still alive. I live one day at a time and thankfull for the things I do have. Life is good!!!
