  • From 1:23 to 1:26, he plays F naturals (wrong notes) instead of F sharps. While learning this piece, I had the same mistake until my teacher pointed it out in my first lesson on the Sonata. It is simply surprising how a guy like him did not realize about it.

  • His tone reminds me of Zukerman's

  • gorgeous sensuous and perfectly balanced and tasteful...

  • Absolutely beautiful. Rostal plays with such purity, and the Haas also demonstrates taste and restraint.
