Charted at #3 in October 1902. Introduced by Blanche Ring in "The Defenders". Recorded by John Philip Sousa and his band in 1903. Billy Murray recorded the song in 1905. The song also became the title of a Judy Garland movie in 1949. Written by George Evans and Ren Shields. This was William Redmond's only big recording hit. He recorded a few other songs for Edison in 1902, as well as one in 1904.
