Brings new meaning to the term an ice ballet, um, I cant imagin the cramp my arches would have, I have a hard time warming up speedskating without my arches hurting, and this its hard enough to stand en pointe for many dancers on land, but do it on ice with your legs all the way extended where your center of balance is higher takes an great deal of skill.
I kind of like this its interesting.

Wonderful! Always fascinating to see pointe used outside of ballet!

Wow! That's incredible! She sure has some incredible strength in her legs and ankles to be able to do that!

shes my coach :D

cool, but doesnt seem to provide much control, the spins are not well centered at all, not sure if its from the pointe shoe or what...

@sarakimm It is a type of ballet where you are on your toes the whole time, look it up you might inderstand better:)
-
amazing-two of my most favorite things in the world-now combined:)

What's the pointe?

It is one in the same. Darlene Gilbert is her maiden name.
She has a perfectly centered spin 14 seconds in! It's an example for all skaters to emulate - not sure what you were watching
