@WC9456 you are probably from america or continental europe, where cars are on the right side of the road, and the steering wheel is on the left. In most former british colonies, like malaysia, where i live, cars are on the left and the steering wheel on the right.

i really don't understand why the put the drivers seat on the right side, unless your left handed( most people aren't) then its difficult to shift

I think he deserved to get run over cuz you dont move a manual car off by lifting the clutch and then letting go of the brake. Try gas on, lift the clutch to the biting point. as the car moves off slowly release the clutch. hey presto! remind me not to visit wherever these drivers come from!
