@OUGHTONRD the song was written by The Manics and was released in 2007 with the female lines sung by Nina Persson of The Cardigans. I've never heard of Amsterdam or their cover version

I generally prefer Cerys' vocal, but for this track Nina is definitely the better fit.

I don't like her version as much as Nina's vocal on the recorded version, saw em last night 10/1/09 in Chicago...James sang both parts and it was awesome, that bloke is a great guitarist!
