He does have an amazing voice and you're right, most of the 80's singers lost their voices. But another singer that can still hit those notes and has been around longer than Michael Sweet is Glen Hughes! He's been around since the early 70's, if not earlier. Now that's amazing.

Great observation about the guitar tuning, gpfd235!!
I've now seen three or four youtube videos of 'The Way' recorded in the past 2-5 years, and I still cant believe Michael can still hit that sick high note at the end!
I'm sooooo going to try to get tickets to their fall tour this year!

I have reviewed many of the videos from the great metal bands of the 80's and so far, Michael is the only one that can still hit all his high notes. Did I mention they don't drop their guitars a whole step lower like the others? Awesome
