@Zorron93 It's an Ibanez RG prototype from 1988/1989 with a Kahler Flyer tremolo, a Duncan Distortion in the Bridge, and a SM2N minibucker at the neck. They were made for Paul Gilbert (he has a matching pink one) and Bruce Bouillet of Racer X as part of an endorsement deal, although this video was recorded shortly after the band's breakup (hence no Paul).

his tone sucks...
-
what guitar is he using ?

lmfao, sounds like an angry bee and the other players look bored shitless..i'm glad the speed guitar wars are over cause it was just poor tone in the end

your post is old, but i will say i tried looking about the same time as you and couldnt find anything. once upon a time the whole thing used to be on youtube, but they took it down because some chinese companies bitched about copyright infringments and ordered google to take it down by force. the videos are hard as fuck to find on ebay too.... so all i can say is good luck. maybe someone will post up their personal videos again.

oh i'm sorry, i got to do some research..
thanks for the infos,
this is just my opinion you got your own taste of tone and styles,
cheers
Emotional guitar playing doesnt have to be slow..i dont know why everyone thinks that shred is not "emotional" its ridiculous. Anything you can play can be emotional, it's the way you play that shines through not the fact that you can play triplets faster than the other guy. And besides, this guy is improvising and he makes it sound good! The tone maybe a little bad, but this displays good musicality. Stop your bitching!
