Like it or not that is the situation in Norway. Base jumping is illegal in many countries and the governing bodies of the sport in those countries do their best to ensure people comply. Club operators do not want to be associated with base jumps where any publicity is bad publicity. They know the slightest change in aviation law can result in clubs running at a loss.

@TheSpiritof1969 Oh come on. Putting the whole sport of skydiving on the line just from base jumping? Give me a break. A sport as big and safe as that will NEVER be on the line because of people basejumping. Let people do what they want. If they fuck up, send them the bill.

Skydiving activities in Norway are controlled by the military. Idiots from outside the country who go there for their adrenilin / ego fix with illegal base jumping are putting the future of the sport of skydiving from airplanes in doubt.
This is because there have been a number of accidents involving dangerous and expensive helicopter rescues.

I live 12 hours away from the place and i just wanna say that it is illegal to jump from Trollveggen and several have died in attempts.
The police will give you a fine or block cell,
but they are never there :)
