Custom 2006 Ford Taurus Intake

Extended the intake on my taurus. Can't hear much a difference on camera but it has a louder growl! Had to stop my last run short because i saw a cop. Didn't floor it on any of the runs : /. just a quick run

In any case I'm not. There are many advantages of having an intake opposed to a stock air filter.

Although you can spend the money and time installing and partitioning a K&N conical intake system, K&N actually recommends (in the 96-99 Gen 3 Vulcans, @ least) that you can put in one of their reusable filters in your stock box...It won't boost your HP or give you that "SHO Growl" you're looking for, but it will sure help in air/fuel mix efficiency, and not wreak havoc on your O2 sensor...

Come on! I'm a Mexican I don't even use zip ties to modify anything. I also own a 2006 Ford Taurus and I don't have any mods on it and it picks up faster than your car any day. You should have spent your money wisely and fixed your spark plug wire instead.

@benzbubblecat Thats a common misconception of ricers. Putting aftermarktet parts on a car does not mean your a ricer. A ricer is someone who will put a fart can on a car and claim to get a 50 HP increase. Putting a cold air intake on a taurus is not ricer, unless he claims the intake adds a ton of HP when it doenst and tries to act like its a sports car.

if you had a spark plug wire problem then it would misfire, so you are probably running lean.
