Shaykh Riad was born in Casablanca, Morocco and, after achieving Islamic education degrees from M. Abdullah University, he moved to the States in 1988, where he pursued a Bachelors in International Management and a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems. He studied Aqeedah under Shaykh Waleed Basyouni and Fiqh under Shaykh Waleed Idrees. He attained certificates in personal development, business management and coaching.

He moved to Canada in 2001 and became active in Islamic work, conducting lectures and khutbas in several masajid in the Greater Toronto Area.

May Allah reward the Brother.

I hope we remember to pray for our oppressed brothers and sisters in the Muslim Ummah.

For whatever reason, we share the same religion. The Arab world share the same language. We share the same prayer place.

And yet we can't unite to have a nation.

Imagine Libya, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Morrocco, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh as a United Land with United People.

With all the similarities, we are drowned in differences

@BrFaisal uno y we cant unite ? because deep down,the muslims actually WANT to be like kaafirs. we have actually lost "pride" in our history, in our successes, in our brave men and women, in our discoveries and our beautiful and gorgeous way of life, and we look at the west and go "wow, c that ?! I want to have that ! I want to b as cool/as popular/prestigious/sexy as them". and to get that, we have sold Islam and purchased that.

the west fears muslim unity. they r afraid of us.
