@frusionnn Well Penny would have retired by now - and it was one of the saddest things along with Hill going down in the 2000 playoffs. Penny would have been one of the greats if he had stayed healthy. You could see the signs in the 96 playoffs though. He was always complaining that his legs felt heavy or fatigued. That was probably the beginning of his down fall. And again when he beat the G.O.A.T. again I say he was only two months removed from being a full time baseball player lol.

@moose423 one of the biggest tragedies in the NBA having Penny's career ruinied with inuries in just his 3rd season in the league. we never got to see him become one of the top 10 greatest players of all time as we did Kobe Bryant. I'd MUCH rather have Penny in Kobe's shoes right now.

@moose423 oh one more thing... Penny evolved to an SG. he was the point guard of the Magic from 1993 to 1997. After the injury ridden 97 season a lesser Penny (due to injuries) slid from the point to the two (SG) position. So you'd be ranking that penny (from 93-96 or w/e u said) as a point guard not an SG.

@frusionnn 2/2 The Bulls had to wait until the 96 season to sign a legit PF. They ended up with Rodman. Orlando got swept the following year. Go figure, the G.O.A.T. had a full season to prepare and his team sent that Magic squad packing much earlier than they expected losing in 4 games. Like I said - top ten - not top five

Penny is in the 6-10 range. Sorry - the injuies were tragic - but he never fully blossomed as an NBA player.
