  • Not only do you have to be the first one their you also have to be a fast walker and have your eyes wide open and do some digging. I recently opened a ratty looking old card board box that was on the ground of this old timers lot and OMG it was filled with mint Redline Hotwheel cars i gave him a generous offer and walked off with over 300 cars!

  • @atomicvillian Good going!

  • what flea brumwells??

  • @rummerman It's just some local flea markets.

  • It depends on the train. You have to have a little knowledge on what to buy. I know American Flyer is a good name and is well collected. Even if I did not know it was a good name, I can tell by the quality and the fact it's made of metal that it's a good deal as opposed to a modern plastic train that takes batteries. I usually sell my stuff on Ebay, so what I get depends on the item and sometimes luck.

  • Knowing what you are looking at is VERY important. Maybe the yellow Marx passenger car is worth the $20. The caboose, about $5, the cattle unloading car might be worth the $20 the 906, in it's condition, $10 Instruction manual nada, and the rest is prewar, which I don't know. At a train show, $20 to $25 for the box would be considered a good buy. If you bought to resell, you'll be hard pressed to pay yourself much after expenses.

  • when you see a train how much do you usually get?
