From Fate/Extra Limited Sound Track.
Remix of the Emiya theme from Fate/stay night.

Official name of the track: survant_stay_night (archer, nobody knows him/the hero)

I don't own anything, all trademarks and copyrights are owned by their respective creators (TYPE-MOON, Marvelous Entertainment), and all of that legal stuff.

  • @MsPandoR okay i agree with the fact that caladbolg isn't destined to kill lancer, but I`m sure lancer would be agitated just hearing the word.

    I really hope archer in Fate Extra CCC has a better remix for UBW, hopefuly MajingaZ will be able to upload it when the game comes out :D.

  • @ShinnFlowen

    If the Limited Edition of CCC comes with an OST CD like Extra that includes a new UBW remix be confident that I will upload it. But I think this one comes with a character song album of Sakura Tange, the voice of Red Saber/Saber Bride.

  • Fate/ Extra CCC has been announced for 30th of April.

  • @ShinnFlowen Interestingly, assuming that Lancer is his resurrected form of him having experienced all of his life, he's already gone through the geas of having to be defeated by Caladbolg. So the use of Caladbolg against him would probably work as something like an auto-rank downer much like the use of resisted mystic eyes, but not an instant win like some suppose. Word of God of course :)

  • You know the entire reason they put Archer in this game was just so they could have this song play when you summon UBW. And I'm sure we're all glad they did!

  • @JadeAmberTwins Quite interresting, and Clever, I like it.

    Indeed, all these Weapons have Diffrent functions and Powers, unexplained and unfathomable, created by ancient and unknown Magics in their time, that would explain it all.

    And then The Legendary Hero, whose tale was the very first thing written in human History, had obtained them all.

    It all makes sense, thanks for the Explaination! :D

  • @zuser These powerful weapons were so powerful and magnificent that the people these weapons spread to, were copied by the people in an attempt to match their glory. So rather then the weapons being made based off of a cultures preferences and style, the cultures were attempting to recreate the weapons that spread from the king's treasury. So any famous weapon who's forging isn't specifically known, comes from the Gate in the Nasuverse. It's an interesting answer to the question asked.

  • @zuser The concept of Gate of Babylon came from the creator's thought of "Hey you hear of all these ancient and powerful weapons, I wonder where they came from." That's how he devised the gate as an answer to the source of all these legendary weapons, the premise is all these weapons existed before they became famous, forged in times where bizarre and powerful magics were used, and these treasures were collected by the king, Gilgamesh. Then when the king died the treasure spread.

  • @MajingaZ

    Oh right, sounds familiar... Didn't play it in a year ^^;

    @zuser

    MajingaZ explanation works too. It's quite a confusing ability indeed.

    Fun fact: he isn't just limited to weapons. He can also pull out wine and other stuff out of his GoB. In other words everything that was inside his treasure room when he was alive.

  • @DarkCedon Well... fuck >_> *Facepalm*

    So Gate of Babylon basicly pulls out weapons of all timelines? that's quite the paradox Noble Phantasm o_O

  • @DarkCedon

    He doesn't have Gae Bolg, he has the less famous prototype of it. That lance looks very similar to Gae Bolg and that's the reason Shirou recognizes it. Gilgamesh has the weapons from the original legends that derived over the years in new legends. For example, inside GoB are stored both Merodach and Gram. Merodach is the origin of the legend of Gram, and Gram is the origin of the legend of Caliburn, the Sword in the Stone.

  • @zuser

    Yes. But as was explained by himself: All Legendary Weapons have the same origin. A myth or a legend that was told over generations. And that's why every weapon originates from his treasure. <-- or something along the lines.

    And explicitly for your example Gae Bolg... It's like the only weapon Shiro instantly recognized when Gil used his GoB for the first time xD

    So he DOES own it.
