Most travellers visit Jordan with its history in mind and understandably so. Voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, the Lost City of Petra, the two-thousand year old rose red city of the Nabateans, stretches up out of the rocks, the jewel in Jordan’s cultural crown and the primary lure for many a traveller since its appearance in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Did you know the in the Bible Jews will flee to Petra for safety in end times as we know it.. Look it up..:)

Omg!! Why not! I have seen it in movies and didn't even know it was a real place untill about a year ago and have been fascinated with it ever since! I would love to go! You should take advantage of being so close to something so amazing!! I will probably never get to see it!

petra is something..but with the happiness of the visiting tourists its everything.
