I'm no fan of either team, but I place the blame on the Georgetown fans. You don't go as a visiting fan and behave like that...completely disrespectful. How else would they expect Syracuse fans to respond?
@jschob the reason I turned around and yelled was because for the better part of the second half people had been throwing beer, water bottles, and food at us...What isn't pictured is the cup of liquid that hit my girlfriend and I in the moment prior to the camera zooming in on me yelling. No disrespect was meant on our part by just coming for the game, but I certainly did feel beyond disrespected by the unsportsmanlike and downright insulting reception as you can see.
Fair enough. I think yelling back at them may have gotten them even more rowdy, but I can understand being upset about it. I've had a similar experience as an away fan at a Univ of Florida football game
