Surprising that there weren't any dropouts from what I saw since you guys shot this in HDV.

Why would there be dropouts? HDV is *less* prone to dropouts and errors than most other formats. HDV has the most robust error correction system of any format available today. It's the perfect format for skydiving, and other space/safety challenged sports formats.
