2007 Installation of Slide Rail pit at Nestle Plant in Anderson, Indiana.
This is a short clip of a job by Poindexter Excavating, out of Indianapolis. A pump station had to be installed about 50 feet deep at the new Nestle Plant in Anderson, Indiana. Due to poor soil conditions and limited space on 2 sides of the excavation, we suggested Slide Rail as a shoring solution rather than standard trench boxes or more time consuming sheet piling.
The Pit ended up being a 2-Bay system that measured about 22' x 44' and was around 50 feet deep from starting grade.
