That was very good, now clearly you have a lot of creativity. I think you really need to join a band and make songs. All you need is your own unique guitar set up for your own sound, and some band members. I read something someone wrote today, which was that all music is a progression of people paying homage to those who influence them. Taking influence from Tool is great, they are one of the few truly revolutionary bands of relatively recent times. I want to buy a cd, and say, oh shit its you!

badb0y19 you are absolutely right about why adam jones is underrated. Most people will assume that because he's not shredding a lead in every song that he's not talented enough to do it or that he's not as talented as other guitar players which is totally false. His playing is much more creative and imaginative than it is to showcase how badass of a guitar player he is.

I think adam could probably shred like hell if he really wanted too, but he seems to put alot of effort into tone and overall sound. I like shredding as much as the next guy, but listen to the solo in wings for marie pt. 2. Its not difficult but it sounds like singing and it is extremely distinct. I would call him a sonic guitarist because of the way he creates unique sounds out of his guitar. great vid btw
