Those are not good news, that is a condescending description of human nature. Is it really enough to just "believe" that Jesus rose from the dead in order for ME to have eternal life?

the good new is all have sinned and fallen short of the kingdom of God. The wages of sin is death. We because of sin were separated from God. The Wages of sin is death. The good news is Christ took our sins upon himself . And through the cross gave us forgiveness . If we will confess Jesus Lord and believe in our heart God raised Jesus from the dead he give us eternal life.
