This lady's daughter should be using methylcobalmim instead of the type she's using......Check out the book Vitamin B12 Exposed by David Rainoshek MA. You'll find out the best testing method for this and the best treatment options.

Methylcobalamin does not work for all PA patients. My daughter did try Methylcobalamin a year and a half ago. Two months into the treatment she was far worse then when diagnosed. She went back on cyanocobalamin plus dibencozide (adenosylcobalamin) sublinguals and six months later, all symptoms were gone. The PAS has members who also cannot use methylcobalamin.

....Pernicious Anemia is also connected to development of Diabetes and Hypothyroidism!

@Shamagogue, you are correct. Diabetes, hypothyroidism and pernicious anaemia are autoimmune diseases. Having one autoimmune disease makes you more susceptible to developing another. However, diabetics who take metformin are at a greater risk of developing B12 deficiency/pernicious anaemia because metformin interferes with the absorption of B12.
