"Spain should have invested on scientific research as much as Catalonia did" Jordi Pujol

Nowadays the priority should be on investments in scientific research. According to the politician Jordi Pujol Spain made a good start in the seventies, but it lost some opportunities on the way. An article recently published on the scientific journal Nature puts Barcelona between the cities that invested most on scientific productivity and research centers.
