@hanynits4621 I've seen 'bigger' ladies pole dance, and 65kg isn't very big to begin with. As with any type of exercise you can lose weight doing it as long as you do it regularly and your diet is good. It will definitely make you stronger. It's not necessary to be lighter to pole dance but it does make it easier as you'll be lifting your own weight.
Personally, i wouldn't pole dance to lose weight. Pole dance because you enjoy it :)

@bl0ndinerikke practice. You will get stronger. There's no magic solution, just practice

Hi there, thanks so much for making these tutorial videos, they really help a total beginner like me! We were just taught fireman but I couldn't get it at all and I see now the teacher was teaching us "open" fireman without using knees to grip. I got a massive bruise on top of my back foot - is this normal? And still couldn't hold my weight up (I'm tiny!). Is this a matter of using arms to hold myself up or getting momentum swinging round to stay on?

@anivrere bruises are all apart of pole dancing. And will get worse before it gets better. And holding your own weight is about strength and in a fireman it's also about using your legs to hold some of your weight. You're only just a beginner, so don't expect to be able to hold yourself up just yet. With practice you'll get stronger, so work towards that

I seem to be having a difficult time holding onto the pole (50mm). No matter what grip aid I use, my palms are still sweaty. I've started wearing gloves, any advice?
