Forgot to mention in my first video to expect some...discomfort..in pole dancing lol

Pains and other affects of pole dancing: bruising, skin burn, muscle soreness, strains and just overall aches and pains. hahah! It comes with a price but oh so worth it.

Having said that, listen to your body. Know when enough is enough. I don't want anyone doing permanent damage.

IMPORTANT: Please warm up before any rigorous exercise to help reduce risk of injury. Some warm ups before dancing:
- shoulder rolls
- arm swings
- head rolls and stretches
- rotate wrists and stretch them
- warm up torso by doing body rolls, torso twists
- squats, light stretches (do longer and deeper stretches AFTER a workout)
- push ups

Note: Pole dancing, like other forms of sport or physical activity, involves risk of injury. I'll try my best to provide the best advice and information to minimise these risks, however, this responsibility is ultimately yours. Take care, and don't over push yourself. Always start from the bottom and work your way up. DO NOT attempt a move that you are not ready for

  • Hi :-)

How do I get my arms stronger? Cus I can't hold my body on the pole ):

  • @bl0ndinerikke practice. You will get stronger. There's no magic solution, just practice

  • Hi there, thanks so much for making these tutorial videos, they really help a total beginner like me! We were just taught fireman but I couldn't get it at all and I see now the teacher was teaching us "open" fireman without using knees to grip. I got a massive bruise on top of my back foot - is this normal? And still couldn't hold my weight up (I'm tiny!). Is this a matter of using arms to hold myself up or getting momentum swinging round to stay on?

  • @anivrere bruises are all apart of pole dancing. And will get worse before it gets better. And holding your own weight is about strength and in a fireman it's also about using your legs to hold some of your weight. You're only just a beginner, so don't expect to be able to hold yourself up just yet. With practice you'll get stronger, so work towards that

  • I seem to be having a difficult time holding onto the pole (50mm). No matter what grip aid I use, my palms are still sweaty. I've started wearing gloves, any advice?

  • @DennisaLMoore i use tite grip. There's also itac, mighty grip, dry hands. Try them all and see what works best for u

  • Love the vid n voice over, best 1s ive ever found!! x

  • @hanynits4621 I've seen 'bigger' ladies pole dance, and 65kg isn't very big to begin with. As with any type of exercise you can lose weight doing it as long as you do it regularly and your diet is good. It will definitely make you stronger. It's not necessary to be lighter to pole dance but it does make it easier as you'll be lifting your own weight.

Personally, i wouldn't pole dance to lose weight. Pole dance because you enjoy it :)

  • i just wanna ask you something very important to me, im like 65kg. can this be still posible for me to do, i just find my self so heavy in doing this..or can i loss from this??? i really hope so coz i wanna be good at this, and being slim like you is just more good and more sexy to look lol... i hope you can rply to my questions.. thanx alot...

  • youre a good teacher! very graceful. i got it on my first try. you make it look sooo easy.
