You are right, we all should start thinking about the aging process. Most people (at least in the U.S.) think of health care all wrong. It should be called SICK Care! For us to move towards anti-aging people need to become proactive!
The biggest Challenge on the discovery front is the Financial need by most forward thinking scientist for their research. Unless they get funding (huge funding) most of what they say will not be discovered or validated ( at least by them )

Well, of course we all would like to live as long as we can, but lets not lose our heads here. Do we have any evidence that this group is the best place to put our money, to advance these goals? Note that deGrey's association is a bit dogey, he was fired as a computer tech for mis-representing his position there.
Lets start with something a bit easier, like, say, curing cancer.
