One of the few talents in the arab music history. Imagine that poor dude had to sing in a time where Halim and Umm Kulthum were so great. Truly one of the greatest Roshdy.

@abossaif I agree, but he is not the only one who was not treated fairly by media. I think this is due to the simple fact that in the Arab World and in particulary in Egypt every thing is related to one person, a superlative and superior. e.g. Um Kalthoum and no one else....or Abd el-halim or Farid etc. Very few has found the recognition they deserve....In my opinion - with very little exceptions - the whole generation and the generations before were all superior.

too bad i never knew his name or seen his picture before, but i heard him on the radio alot.. what a great singer. i tried to read about his biography but there was nothing about him on the web. i like to know what year he passed away? anyone can help please?
