Activison Classics - Barnstorming

*Due to the quietness of the recording, please turn up your volume to hear it properly.* Welcome to the Activision Classics, a collection of 30 classic games by Activision for the Atari 2600. More like a test video than anything, this is my first video uploaded using the ADS Tech Video Xpress.

In Barnstorming (or Barn Storming, as it's spelled sometimes), the objective is to simply fly into the given number of barns and dodge the windmills in the fastest time. The geese can be bumped for fun, but they can also be helpful to slow down and properly fly into the barns.

The handheld version of this game given out by Burger King in 2005 required that every geese needed to be dodged, but had no windmills, and the player was only given three hits, due to the technical limitations of LCD handhelds.

I crashed a few times during this video. I'm sure many players remember fondly of the crashing...

Me and my sister used to play this and crash on purpose because the sound effect used to make us laugh all the time.

You actually did use "LOL" for the Dolphin Part 2 video, so at best it seems that you don't use them as much as other people. Heh, heh, will you do that sort of thing for Pitfall, also? The paddles are called Buckets in the manual, but I guess once again they can be called multiple things.

No harm done. I don't post "smileys" or "hehehe...lol" like everyone else, so I run into this VERY frequently. I refuse to weaken statements with those additives, so I end up confusing people who are used to seeing them, since they denote jokes, light-heartedness, or whatever.

You'll see more of it. Especially if you post videos of KABOOM. (Old 2600 game, paddles, very bad)

I wound've known that you were being sarcastic because it didn't sound that way to me. Besides, authentic means something that is good and genuine, and you did favor that video after all. Forgive me, and you didn't need to be a little mean about it.

I was making fun of Enduro, I suggest you re-read that. (Didn't the engine noise comment tip you off to it?)

You say you never cared for River Raid, but say it is your favorite game with Enduro in the Enduro Part 1 video. What kind of bizzare sense is that supposed to make? About Activision, I think what happened is that after the early days on the Atari 2600, some of the programmers left and were doomed to making licensed games (but not all are bad).
