I dream about becoming a screenwriter and for the best writing in television, there is only one show I look towards.

  • I half agree with your video, but if you dunt like the show dont watch it.

  • But I love Michael Rosenbaum and Lex and Chloe and I live in a world where I'm allowed to say what I want and do what I want. I'm not thrilled with the government in the US. Doesn't mean I'm going to leave the country.

  • Personally I always felt like Lois shouln't be making an apperance until the final season but she's not the reason the show went down hill it's the constant pimping of Clana and Lexana in the face of all the people who fell in love with Chlex from that first meeting at the Torch or the Chlark fans. Chloe is one of the strongest female characters I've seen in a long time am I supposed to believe she's be with Jimmy Olsen?! My poor Chloe is got run over first for Lana and now Lois and I hate it!

  • Wow you're right. Chloe and Lex do have chemistry.

  • you are so awesome - i loved these satires of SV - and you are right on the money - sometimes I wonder what these writers were smoking - or even if they have ever sat down and watched their own show - very discouraging in some ways & very encouraging for those of us that know we can do better :)

  • And the first clip is from Season 7 Episode 4 "Cure" where Clark is speaking to Lex just after Clark believed he killed Dr. Knox in order to save Lex.

  • What's this about Lex telling Grant about the cloning experiment? I know he didn't say anything before Grant found out. I believe he told Grant that if Lionel knew he'd hurt him but what person just takes that without some evidence. I do have a version that doesn't include this part but I ultimately kept it in because in the end Smallville dropped the ball on this one like so many other storylines. Bottom line is they didn't do enough with the storyline to justify it in the first place.

  • We got Lois at planet when she didn't earn it, Chloe getting pissed on repeatedly, and something that might have been a conspiracy if they owned up to the fact that Lex was using Grant to deliberately put Chloe down...but he never did. So Lois is in, Chloe's out and Grant didn't last long enough to be thought of a few episodes after his demise. Screwing w/ the excellent character backstory that was Lionel-Lex relationship was not worth for it a lame clone story arc that didn't matter in the end.

  • Yes, when I made the video it was before the whole Julian clone thing was uncovered but I'll be honest I knew the clone thing was coming. I knew there was no way that Grant was Julian, but I had to ask why does this supposedly super editor/reporter not question that he's a long thought to be dead Luthor...at least investigate is all I ask...and since it was so easy to know that the clone was coming why waste our time on it? What did Julian/Grant give us before he was quickly killed off?

  • what really sidetracked al and miles and the other writers is the fact that al and miles were too fixated on the lana character and in order to mold her to different storylines that they wedged her into, it warped various storylines and detracted from what was or could have been fantastic: the clex friendship that should have been epic before it turned dark, then chlex vs. clois and other more compelling storylines. it really is all al and miles fault. the show had such potential.

  • in the first scene, who was he talking to? i dont think it was lex...idk. but yeah, not all of these things were great arguments but there are some really good ones like the lana blaming the lies for their problems and then justifying it 30 seconds later, lol. but yeah, i had to clear up the Julian matter, that bugged me since it was completely wrong in the point that was being made, lol.

  • first of all thanks for sending this to me!! i did enjoy it! but the Julian story was NOT changed! Lex told Gabriel ("Julian") that to keep him quiet because if Lionel knew about him then he would know about Lex's cloning experiments and try even harder to shut him down!! no offense to you or westwingwolf but a lot of these scenes erase the context between the seasons. i do agree that there are a lot of inconsistencies in the show but scenes like the Julian one is not a good argument, lol :)

  • I'm not a big Lana fan so I could never get into Lexana. As for Chimmy they were okay until he started drooling over Kara it was over for me after that besides the only thing I wanted more than Chlex is Chlark! And now I'm liking the Chlavis. Davis is hot and interesting two things that Jimmy seriously lacks.

  • Chlex? Seriously? They barely had any screen time together. I was a total Lexana/Chimmy fan :)
